Black Thunder
Black Thunder earns its name. The ground is a deep blue-black that shifts toward charcoal where light catches it, and across it white veining breaks in long diagonal strikes, some fine as hairlines, others widening into bright clustered pockets. It suits a kitchen island where the full sweep can stay uninterrupted, a fireplace surround, or a powder room feature wall where drama is the whole point. Set against pale cabinetry or warm brass it settles into something quietly theatrical. Our Las Vegas showroom is the only place to see how the polish carries that movement across the full slab.

Sealing: Quartzite should be sealed upon installation and resealed annually, or whenever water no longer beads on the surface. Use a penetrating impregnator sealer designed for natural stone.
Daily Cleaning: Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water or a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid acidic cleaners, abrasive scrubbers, or bleach.
Heat Resistance: Quartzite is heat resistant, but we recommend trivets or hot pads to maintain the polished finish.
Quartzite is a metamorphic rock formed when sandstone is subjected to extreme heat and pressure. The result is one of the hardest natural stones — denser and more durable than marble, with a Mohs hardness of 7. Its beauty is entirely natural.
Black Thunder Quartzite originates from Brazil, where specific geological conditions create its signature deep blue-black, charcoal, streaking white crystals, warm tan palette. No dyes, no resins, no treatments.
