Cristallo Illuminato
Cristallo Illuminato reads more like ice than stone. The body is a near-translucent white shot through with fine needle-like crystal striations that cross and layer like frost on glass. Pale gray shadowing moves beneath the surface rather than across it, giving the slab visible depth. Warm amber and rust gather in the upper right corner and trace out in fine gold hairlines across the field, the only warmth in an otherwise cool stone. Polished, the surface turns glassy and the crystal structure catches light from every angle. That translucence makes it a natural candidate for a backlit panel, an island waterfall, or a bar face where light can work through it rather than bounce off it. On a countertop it stays bright and quiet. This is a slab that has to be seen in person at our Las Vegas showroom.

Sealing: Quartzite should be sealed upon installation and resealed annually, or whenever water no longer beads on the surface. Use a penetrating impregnator sealer designed for natural stone.
Daily Cleaning: Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water or a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid acidic cleaners, abrasive scrubbers, or bleach.
Heat Resistance: Quartzite is heat resistant, but we recommend trivets or hot pads to maintain the polished finish.
Quartzite is a metamorphic rock formed when sandstone is subjected to extreme heat and pressure. The result is one of the hardest natural stones — denser and more durable than marble, with a Mohs hardness of 7. Its beauty is entirely natural.

Once purchased, we store your slab at our Las Vegas facility at no charge until your fabricator is ready. We coordinate delivery directly.
