Dolomite is a sedimentary rock composed primarily of the mineral dolomite (calcium magnesium carbonate). Geologically similar to marble but distinctly harder and more resistant to acids, it produces the breathtaking Calacatta-style white and gray veining that designers and homeowners love, with performance that edges closer to quartzite than pure marble.
Our dolomite collection spans from the iconic Calacatta Super White, the most sought-after slab in the Las Vegas luxury kitchen market, to rare Viola and Michelangelo variations found nowhere else in Nevada. Available in polished, honed, and leathered finishes, with 2CM slab thickness standard throughout.
Care note: Dolomite is calcareous and will etch with extended exposure to acidic cleaners, citrus, or wine, similar to marble. Sealing is required and routine maintenance is straightforward. We guide every client through the care process before purchase.
